RSS WILL INSTALL ITS SOLUTIONS IN PROJECTS OF RENFE, ACCIONA (LINE 6 METRO SAO PAULO) AND THE CONSORTIUM FOR THE CENTRAL RAILROAD (CCFC), LED BY SACYR IN URUGUAY

AGUTERM+, RSS’s point heating system, will improve the efficiency of RENFE´s various maintenance facilities

RSS will install its AGUTERM+ systems at the Atocha, Humanes and Fuencarral maintenance facilities to protect the switches and prevent them from becoming unusable in cold winter weather, allowing trains to operate normally within the facilities covered by the project. The €1.2 million project is part of RENFE’s plan of improving key infrastructure centers, such as depots and maintenance bases, to optimize performance and operational safety.

AGUTERM+, thanks to the algorithm and sensors developed by RSS, enables a reduction of more than 35% in energy consumption and CO2 emissions over conventional railway point heating systems. Railway operators and infrastructures in Spain, Turkey and Belgium are thereby contributing to environmental objectives such as the Business Ambition 1.50 of the United Nations SDGs, which seeks to prevent the increase in global temperature from exceeding 1.50C by 2030.

RSS will install TIPublic (Passenger Information Systems) on L6 at Metro Sao Paulo thanks to Acciona´s ongoing trust

RSS will deploy TIPublic, its Passenger Information System (Passenger Experience), on Line 6 of the Sao Paulo Metro, which is being built by Acciona under a 19-year concession model. The €4.2 million project includes public address systems, visual information and timekeeping for 15 stations and the depot area. This complements other subsystems currently being implemented by RSS for Acciona on Line 6, such as station control with XTHINGS ticketing and access control. With this project, RSS will provide passengers with audiovisual information inside the newly designed stations, implementing a public address system capable of functioning as a security public address system thanks to the use of elements that meet the EN-54 standard. Similarly, passenger information will be designed on the basis of intelligent screens that will broadcast messages from the different control centers, all using IP data networks. Finally, timekeeping will provide master clocks for use by third parties as well as display clocks for workers and customers in stations and offices.

TiPublic, RSS’s passenger information system, improves the user experience and is deployed in different variants in metros, railroads and streetcars in Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Panama, Ecuador, Algeria and now Brazil.

The Consortium for the Central Railroad (CCFC) in Uruguay, led by Sacyr, once again places its trust in RSS

The Consortium for the Central Railroad (CCFC), led by Sacyr, has extended the contract to RSS on the 270 km project between Paso de los Toros and Montevideo, in Uruguay. The expansion includes the stations communications networks and control system (X-THINGS). The amount of the extension is €2.3M and its execution is partially scheduled for 4Q 2023, with the rest to be deployed at the beginning of 2024.

This extension ratifies CCFC’s confidence in Revenga Smart Solutions (RSS) which, together with CAFS, is already deploying 270km of ERMTS signaling, Level 1 (CAFS technology), and integrating 190 RailRox, RSS´s level crossing systems.

RailRox, RSS’s state-of-the-art, low-consumption (<10W) level crossing system, which meets the highest SIL-4 functional safety standards, is a sustainable solution that contributes to meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, such as the Business Ambition 1.5ºC.
