AUSOL CONTROL CENTER | MARBELLA AUSOL EXPRESSWAY, SPAIN

The highway consists of two segments: Málaga-Estepona and Estepona-Guadiaro, a total of 110 Km of expressway, with more than 10 Km of tunnels with 2 tubes. Both are part of the European route E15. They bring together short and medium-distance traffic from Málaga and its airport, as well as long-distance traffic coming from/going to the Bay of Algeciras.

The project includes the supply, development, installation, commissioning, guarantee, integration and operation of safety equipment on a SCADA platform to ensure a minimum level of safety for the highway tunnel users, in accordance with Directive 2004/54 / EC (EU) and RD 635 / 2006 (Spain) for the following tunnels: Casares, Santa María II, Corominas, Estepona, Montemayor, La Quinta, Río Verde, Santa María I, Calahonda and Nagüeles de Málaga, Spain, as well as managing all of the equipment outside of the tunnels.

The Autopista del Sol is the first expressway in Spain to begin adapting its tunnels to RD 635/2006.
This adaptation work will significantly increase and improve the tunnel safety equipment, ensuring faster and more efficient management of actions in the event of incidents and/or accidents.
